Yesterday we had a full day of proper beach weather at last.
We headed to one of our favourite beaches on the island, Traigh Mhòr, which simply means 'big beach' in Gaelic.
You can probably see why it got it's name.
As a baby last summer, Fraser loved to touch the sand and pick up handfuls of it. This year, as a fully mobile toddler, he was able to immerse himself in the full beach experience, and he absolutely loved every bit of it!
Including the freezing cold Hebridean sea.
Alasdair's eczema is quite sore just now, and when we were at the beach a couple of days ago the salt water really stung his skin so he decided that he wasn't going to go near the water.
Which didn't dampen his enjoyment of the day at all. He spent his time digging, tunnelling and building in the sand.
I think the photos can do the rest of the talking.
l love the beautiful beach. I think I could just look and look at it. Such a fun Holiday and precious family.
